Dr Sukran Altun, Consultant old age psychiatrist. Dr Altun obtained her medical degree from the university of Southampton in 2009. Since then, she has been working as a doctor in the NHS. Dr Altun has completed her training in old age psychiatry, and has been working as a consultant old age psychiatrist since August 2023. Dr Altun has experience as a consultant psychiatrist in both inpatient and outpatient old age psychiatry settings, as well as within a memory clinic. Dr Altun is confident in assessing and diagnosing cognitive impairment and psychiatric conditions in older people. Dr Altun is also confident in assessing mental capacity.
